Meet  the Librarian

Hi, I'm Katie!

Welcome to The Adorable Librarian!

I am an elementary librarian based in Louisville, KY. I am Passionate about creating my own resources and sharing my own library antics.

I am currently entering my 8th year as a librarian, and my 11th year teaching. 

​

My goal with this blog is to give more written details to the things I do in my library. TikTok is great for videos, Instagram is great for pictures (and videos now too), however, I wanted a place where I can write more!

​

I believe in the freedom to read whatever you want and that all children have the right to learn in my library. Creating a safe and welcoming place for my students to learn is my number one priority.

I am a mom to two boys, Jackson and Lucas. I am fortunate enough for them to attend the same elementary school I teach at. I have lived in Louisville all my life and I am married to my best friend, Greg. In my spare time I love to craft and dress up my porch goose, Junie Beak Jones. She might just have to have her own page on here.
